I am not your ally.

My goal in (un)learning isn’t to gain the title of ‘Ally’. My goal is to someday see a world where I’m not one of the people at the center of this fucked up social system that separates us and forces people to find allies in the first place.

You see, allies can be trusted with your life. I can’t promise you that. I know, for a fact, that I would never intentionally betray you; however, when push comes to shove, I will choose my own safety and my daughter’s safety over anyone else’s.
